Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound
Screens for abdominal aortic aneurysm by imaging the main artery that runs through the abdomen.
About This Service
An abdominal aorta ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of the aorta, the main artery that carries blood from your heart through your abdomen. Our portable ultrasound technology brings this screening service to your location. This test is primarily used to screen for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), a potentially life-threatening condition where the aorta becomes weakened and bulges. Early detection through screening can be lifesaving.
