Venous Doppler
Examines blood flow in the veins to detect blood clots, valve problems, and venous insufficiency.
About This Service
A venous Doppler ultrasound examines blood flow in the veins of your arms or legs. Our portable ultrasound technology allows us to perform this important diagnostic test at your location. This non-invasive test is commonly used to detect deep vein thrombosis (DVT), blood clots that can be dangerous if they travel to the lungs. It can also identify venous insufficiency, where vein valves don't work properly, causing blood to pool in the legs.
