Carotid Doppler
Ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries in the neck to assess blood flow to the brain.
About This Service
A carotid Doppler ultrasound is a non-invasive test that uses sound waves to examine the carotid arteries in your neck, which supply blood to your brain. Our portable ultrasound technology allows us to perform this important screening test at your location. The test can detect narrowing or blockages in these arteries caused by plaque buildup (atherosclerosis), which can increase the risk of stroke. Early detection allows for preventive treatment before serious complications occur.
